Keith Brauneisen is the president of Engine 43 Entertainment, a production company “dedicated to making the
world smile…one tooth at a time.”
Mr. Brauneisen was born in the Bronx, NY, where his father was a New York City Firefighter. He was raised in
Connecticut, where his mother was a mom. In his senior year of high school he was voted class clown, but
declined to run for a second term.
He and his parents purchased his undergraduate film degree at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
In his freshman year, he met co-executive producer Michael Marconi. Two years later they became friends.
Early in his professional career, Mr. Brauneisen served as producer for director Jordan Brady at Brady Oil
Entertainment. Together they crafted “pilots,” “pil-ettes,” and “pilot-like presentations” for Viacom, MTV, and
Paramount. In 1995 he was nominated for a Cable Ace Award as producer of the Comedy Central Interstitial
series “Pipeline.” The series featured comedians Dave Chappelle, Kathy Griffin and Jamie Kennedy doing what
they do best.
Mr. Brauneisen created the KIKI B SHOW to display his writing and directing skills, but after auditioning for
himself, under a fictitious name, Mr. Brauneisen was so impressed by his own performance, he cast himself in
the starring role. He completed the 100th episode of THE KIKI B SHOW in the summer of 2005. He hopes to
shoot episodes 1-99 in the very near future.
Currently, Mr. Brauneisen has more than one spec script on his shelf and enjoys creating independent film and
video projects for his friends, family, and studio executives.
Mr. Brauneisen is represented by Barbara Boxer in the U.S. Senate and Howard L. Berman in the U.S. House of
Representatives.
